Gritty City Random Vlogs: Minton's Playhouse

The Famous Jazz Club and Restaurant is still a must see

Listen, we're big on creating high quality content but we're not above taking out a cam and doing the Ol' point and shoot either, especially on nights that just have to be documented. That was exactly how we felt last night at Minton's Playhouse, the Birthplace of Bebop Jazz, and a historic landmark on the music scene. After being starved of live music like the rest of the world, we've been Googling "Jazz club near me" everyday, feening to check out anyone worth listening to. Grammy winning Writer and Vocalist J. Hoard was more than worth the price of admission, and other musicians like Mike King and Endea Owens were amazing as well.https://youtu.be/G9twJAxvoQ0We recommend Minton's Playhouse for their quality performances, ambience and dining experience. The history of the place is still well and alive and with performances like last night, it's clear that they're hip to the new school as well. We were definitely pleased with our visit yesterday, and we'll be back for sure. If you're into Jazz clubs, live music and dinner, check out Minton's Playhouse. It's the birthplace of Bebop yes, but now it's the home to so much more.
