Jazmin Luperena drops a gorgeous visual for her track "Different"
The Boricua performer impresses with her debut
The cycle of being hurt by someone, and transferring that hurt to the next male/female is a seemingly never ending process of pain and grief. It takes a particularly strong individual to endure hurt, and break that cycle. After hearing Jazmin Luperena's breakout track "Different", she appears to be one of these people. The Brooklyn native got personal on her debut track, already displaying some of the qualities of a standout artist.
"The visual was a reflection of my toxic behavior after coming out of an abusive relationship"
The accompanying visual for "Different" features gorgeous visuals and dancing but it is missing one thing: Jazmin. According to her though, this was all apart of the vision. "The visual was a reflection of my toxic behavior after coming out of an abusive relationship(s)," She says. "Since the song was so personal to me, I actually chose not to be in the video." Instead, she shared the idea with her two dancer souls Aly and Kotton, who took it from there.

The mix of beauty and pain in Jazmin's art is a direct reflection of her upbringing around the J/M line on Myrtle Bway section of Brooklyn. She sums it up by saying "You get the mixture of the artists & the addicts, allowing you to find beauty in humanity." Next up for her is a lineup of three shows to close the year out and a new track on the horizon. The GoldBrick produced "Ceilings Into Floors" is dedicated to those on the come up. While her new track asks the question, "What's a 9 to 5, when I got Millions on my mind?", we're still fixated on the current gem she left us with. & We can't front, we're ready to see what 2019 has in store for her next.
