If you've been tapped in, you know by now that we've been working on our second feature film The Sound of Southside for the past few months. Before we got started on that project though, I was awarded the honor of Filmmaker in Residence at The Louis Armstrong House Museum. There, I worked with Snuggs Studios to capture the process of two super talented artists: Alain Hurrikane Lauture and Matthew Whitaker.For two days, we had all-access to the house that Louis Armstrong once lived in Queens NY. We learned all sorts of fun things about the legend, and shot a really dope 15 minute film.
