In case you didn't know, this platform is based out of Queens, and we're big time supporters of Jamaica Center for Arts and Learning. It's where we first met artists like Immanuel Wilkins, where our debut film was premiered, and on April 21st, it'll bring an exciting Afrobeat artist to the stage. Brooklyn musician Tony Adè, will take the stage as a part of JCAL's music series Riddim Section and we have a feeling this will be one of the best shows yet.

Born and raised in Brooklyn NY, music has always been a way of life for Tony Adè. He got his start playing drums at church, then picked up on piano, bass guitar, steelpan, singing, and multiple African percussions. In 2018, he put on for Africa when he became the first artist to introduce the talking drum into mainstream pop music during his performance with Janet Jackson live on the Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon for Janet’s single “Made For Now” featuring Daddy Yankee in 2018.
