When we first saw the commercials and artwork for Disney Pixar's latest movie Soul, we were hyped for a number of reasons. Yes, Pixar was getting its first black lead, but there was also a refreshing amount of diversity behind the scenes, as black animators were put up to the task of bringing the film to life.When a cultural event like Soul happens, we like to keep an eye on the hashtags here at Gritty Vibes, because we knew the creative world would respond accordingly.
