Breakout star Boog The Bandit drops a hit single “Hot Topic
A new talent with a great sound
Being able to observe the growth of an artist is one of the best parts about what we do, and a great example has been watching the rise of Boog The Bandit. Back in 2017, she was one of our very first features as we focused in on her career as a model. Now, she's reinvented herself as a musician. But as Boog tells it, she was involved in music all along. "I’ve always played music close, all we got is time," She says. "You miss every opportunity you don’t take, and in prison I couldn’t take a lot. So I’m at every beneficial situation." These days Boog the Bandit has a renewed focus, which is evident in her breakout track "Hot Topic".https://youtu.be/zAz3JwAGrdM "Hot Topic" is a breezy, feel good track in which Boog the Bandit showcases a knack for melody. The track has taken off on Youtube, giving Boog, who already had an impressive platform, an entirely new audience. "Me and my team worked very hard on this project," She says. "As a new artist I had nerves, no expectations." With a successful single and visual in the books, she now has her eyes set on bigger things. She confirmed with us that her debut EP is in the books and if it's anything like her start, it'll be a hit. Boog The Bandit has been through a lot, but with her new direction in music, and an obvious knack for it, she's on the rise for sure.
