Malcolm Jamal Warner leads the spoken word film WORD WARRIORS III

The important film gets its Juneteenth premiere

As the social climate has reached its boiling point, we've seen a beautiful awakening sweep across the country and the world. Artists have taken it upon themselves to reflect the world within their work and challenge the status quo that has been upheld for far too long by oppressors. It is in this climate that the Spoken Word documentary WORD WARRIORS III has arrived to us. Black poets such as Malcolm-Jamal Warner bring attention to the injustice and racism faced by the Black community, using their words as weapons. "WORD WARRIORS III is the antidote," Says Director and Producer Takia “Tizzi” Green. "It is a part of the solution that gives us the guidance and direction on how to heal as a global community."https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oxFd0zewdqU

This powerful film came about through a collaboration of Tizzi's Green's company Majestic 9 Films with KO Creative and Freestyle Digital Media. The impressive roster of talent each presents a unique perspective on the black experience with an overarching theme of healing throughout. It is an important watch filled with astute social commentary and powerful messages. "Using our words as our weapons through our artistic expression has always created life since the beginning," Tizzi says. "Let’s continue to speak love, prosperity, and life because the more of us that speak that in unity, the more we will see the evil and wicked agenda of those who try and continue to oppress us eliminate itself. Speak your power and watch it manifest."
The film is now available through Dish, In Demand, Vubiquity (Verizon Fios), Hoopla (Libraries), Amazon, iTunes, Vudu, XBOX, Google Play, and YouTube Movies.
